Brandi Richardson joined Cottage Hill Christian Academy in 2017 after six years of working at St. Luke’s Episcopal School. She began her teaching career at St. Luke’s, where she taught Spanish and History. She served as the AP History teacher and Department Chair for 3 of those years. Additionally, Mrs. Richardson works with Coastal Alabama Community College as an adjunct instructor. Recently, Mrs. Richardson was selected as a member of Mobile Bay Magazine’s 2018 “40 under 40”.
Mrs. Richardson grew up in the Mobile area. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama where she majored in Political Science and Spanish Language. In 2011 she earned her master’s degree in Secondary Education, History from Spring Hill College. The constant student, Mrs. Richardson also completed work at La Universidad de Cardinal Cisneros in Alcalá de Henares, Spain and the University of South Alabama.
Mrs. Richardson believes the key to student success is found in positive relationships and a collaborative school community. She believes partnerships with parents, students, and faculty are essential to the vision of Cottage Hill Christian Academy.
During her free time, Mrs. Richardson enjoys reading non-fiction, traveling, and spending time with her family.
