Mrs. Anna Campbell earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Asbury College and her Master of Arts in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University’s School of Public Policy.  Mrs. Campbell spent nine years working in various capacities in the nation’s capital. Early in her career she worked with U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions as the Constituent Services Coordinator, where she handled various constituent services, including the drafting and editing of letters, memos and other correspondence for the Senator’s office. Mrs. Campbell also worked as a Legislative Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Department of Energy Headquarters and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Headquarters. In her role as a legislative affairs specialist, she was responsible for gathering research, preparing reports and disseminating various educational materials for stakeholders in various committee meetings and hearings, as well as drafting reports for the heads of these agencies.

Before leaving Washington, D.C. Anna served as the Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Congressman Mo Brooks where she served as the primary advisor to the congressman on issues pertaining to Science, Space, Technology, Energy, Education, Environment, Natural Resources and Trade. In the Congressman’s office, she continued using her writing and editing skills to assist in the drafting of legislation and other items for the congressional record.

Since returning to Mobile in 2015, Mrs. Campbell has enjoyed raising her son and spending time with her family. She loves Literature and Writing, History and Government, among other subjects and has decided to pursue a career change hoping to use her degrees and experience to educate young adults. Last year, she served as the long-term substitute teacher for Mrs. Martin and enjoyed her classroom experience as well as getting to know some of the students. She is looking forward to another year at CHCA!
